3. Information We Collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect content you enter in the App. However, the App may collect limited diagnostics and device information through service providers to keep the App reliable and secure. This may include:
- App diagnostics (e.g., crash logs, performance data, error traces).
- Device and app information (e.g., device model, OS version, language, App version).
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone/camera recordings, and we do not collect personal identifiers like your name or email through the App interface.
4. How We Use Information
- Monitor stability and performance, fix bugs, and improve reliability.
- Protect the App against abuse and maintain security.
5. Sharing & Processing
We do not sell your data. We may share information with service providers who process it on our behalf. These providers are bound by contracts to use the data only as instructed by us.
Analytics and crash reporting: Diagnostics and device information may be shared with Google/Firebase services to keep the App reliable.
AI-powered features (Finance Insight, Recipe Generation): When you use these features, app-generated content — such as meal preferences, dietary restrictions, allergen information, and aggregated financial summaries (e.g. spending categories and rounded budget totals) — is transmitted to OpenAI to produce personalised recommendations. OpenAI acts as our sub-processor under a Data Processing Agreement and its own Privacy Policy. We do not transmit your name, exact transaction notes, or payment details to OpenAI.

6. Data Retention
Diagnostics and device information are retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, after which they are deleted or anonymized according to our and our service providers' retention practices.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information processed for diagnostics and analytics. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your Rights & Choices
- You can request access to or deletion of data associated with your device by emailing PLACEHOLDER.
- You can reset the App's local data from your device settings or by reinstalling the App.
- If your device settings allow, you can limit diagnostics sharing (e.g., disable usage & diagnostics at the OS level). Features may be impacted if critical diagnostics are disabled.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. International Transfers
Service providers may process data on servers located outside your country. We take steps to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data-protection laws.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App or applicable laws. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above. When required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
